In addition to our Cottage, we offer other accommodation options within a 5-minute drive of the Cottage. Eastwood Lodge is a former farmer’s dwelling that has been carefully brought up to date and offers modern conveniences whilst maintaining its farmhouse style. It comprises of 5 different units and caters for couples as well as families. The units vary from 1.5-bedroom flat with a full separate kitchen and sitting/dining room, to smaller units all with en-suite facilities and kitchenettes. The garden is equipped with a trampoline and outside furniture, and has fencing all around, making it perfect for travellers with pets.

Located in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Eastwood Lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery and has stunning woodlands and beaches within walking distance. The famous Blyth Estuary is located just down from the property and is a haven for bird-watchers and nature lovers alike, conveniently situated next to footpaths leading to Walberswick (15–20-minute walk) and Southwold (30–40-minute walk). It’s located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.

For nature lovers RSPB Minsmere is only a twenty-minute drive away, and is famous for its bird-watching opportunities. Suffolk coasts have large expanses of protected natural habitats, including beaches, dunes, forests, heathlands, and the River Harbour. The fantastic location of the lodge ensures all this is at your fingertips. However, if you fancy journeying back to civilization for some exciting days out, there are many attractions nearby including Framlingham Castle, Orford Castle, Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary, Africa Alive and Eastern Farm Park. In the nearby town, there are enough pubs, restaurants, and food stores to cater for your needs, and Southwold is only a short distance away from Walberswick, accessible by ferry and the Bailey Bridge (pedestrian bridge).
